St. James Modern Caribbean is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Line Cook to join our award-winning culinary team in Washington, DC. We celebrate bold Caribbean flavors and modern technique in a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen. The Lead Line Cook supervises the line, ensuring consistency, quality, and smooth service.
Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience in upscale or high-volume kitchens, strong technical skills, and a leadership mindset.
Responsibilities include station leadership, prep management, training junior cooks, and maintaining food safety and presentation standards. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in craft, culture, and teamwork.
