Gastroenterology Physician Locums Job in Texas 24-Hour Call 11 / 24 - 12 / 1 Assignment # 112110

Coverage Needed : 11 1

Shift Descriptions :

24-hour call, 7am-7am

30-minute call response time

Requirements : Board certified

Fellowship

Must be licensed in Texas

ACLS certification

Procedures :

Upper and lower GI endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection varices, diagnostic / therapeutic ERCP, and PEG)

Esophageal dilatation / manometry and manometry interpretation

Small bowel biopsy

Sigmoidoscopy (flexible / rigid)

Colonoscopy (with biopsy or with excision of polyp)

Liver biopsy

Insertion / management of Sengstaken / Blakemore tube

Assignment Details :

Facility is trauma level III

Will supervise APPs

Admissions, inpatient consults, and ED consults and transfers

EMR : Athena / Medhost

Estimated credentialing timeframe : 10 days
