Engineering Technician

Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician to support prototype development and transition to production. This role involves hands-on assembly, testing, and certification of high-precision machines, as well as providing feedback to improve designs and processes. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with motion control systems, and a passion for building innovative products.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review prototype designs, models, and engineering drawings.
• Assemble, test, and certify prototypes for performance and reliability.
• Provide constructive feedback and suggest design improvements to engineering teams.
• Document assembly and certification processes for future reference.
• Lead the transition from prototype to production through written documentation and hands-on training.
• Perform cable reviews and simple manual machining as needed.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with the supervisor regarding job progress.
• Occasionally travel locally for field support (rare).
