Radius Rule : 50 miles – permanent address must be outside of this radius

Monitor and manage patients with cardiac, stroke, and complex medical diagnoses such as CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, Renal Failure, Diabetes, Pneumothorax, and post-cath lab careAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using telemetry equipment and clinical judgmentAdminister medications, including cardiac drips (set rate diltiazem, amiodarone)Perform NIH stroke assessments and document rhythm strips every 6 hoursCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe and effective patient care and discharge planningProvide education to patients and families regarding conditions, medications, and recoveryRespond promptly to patient changes and initiate emergency protocols when neededFloat to like units (Tele, Med / Surg) and potentially to ICU or sister facilities (Boise or Nampa) if neededMaintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR systemUnit Details :
Unit Size : 27 beds (adding 10 in June)Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : 1 : 4Charge Nurse & House Supervisor on each shift (non-assigned)Nurse Aides : Ratio 1 : 8–9RT Managed Equipment : CPAP, BiPAP, High Flow OxygenTele Tech Support : Onsite until June, then offsite; nurses will read stripsTele Monitors : Currently SpaceLab, transitioning to PhilipsScheduling & Additional Info :
