Job description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Baltimore, Maryland.

Opportunity : RN - Tele

Job Details :

  • Work 3 x 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
  • Provide care for ED boarder patients with varying diagnoses while they await bed placement on inpatient units
  • Patient ratios : 4 patients during days / weekends, 5 patients during nights
  • Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday shifts preferred
  • Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity
  • Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
  • 2 years of MS / Tele or Cardiac Tele RN experience required
  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS
  • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
  • Must have compact license or MD license
  • Two supervisor references required
  • Skills include : Blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tubes, feeding tube management, heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, cardiac and vasoactive drip management, wound care, and use of rapid response teams
  • Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
  • Care for patients of all age groups : adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
  • Access to interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy

    This healthcare facility operates a busy emergency department with 44 rooms and 52 beds, serving approximately 125 patients daily. The organization provides comprehensive medical services with extensive interdisciplinary support including specialized teams for IV therapy, respiratory care, physical therapy, and rapid response. The facility maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes modern charting systems to support clinical operations.
