Position Type : Full-Time Physician – Medical Physicist (Radiation Oncology)

Overview

An excellent opportunity for a Board Eligible or Board Certified Medical Physicist to join a collaborative Radiation Oncology Department . This full-time role ensures safe therapeutic radiological physics services, top-tier patient care, and teaching contributions while working with a well-supported interdisciplinary team.

Practice Highlights

• Clinic-based practice – 40 hours per week, no weekends
• On-call schedule : 1 : 2
• Start Date : ASAP
• Advanced therapies available : SRS, SBRT, IMRT, DIBH, gating, SGRT, and 3D Conformal
• 2 Linear Accelerators : TomoTherapy Hi-Art & Varian TrueBeam
• Treatment Planning Software : Eclipse and Tomoplan | Record & Verify : Aria
• Team Structure : 2 Physicists, 2 Dosimetrists, 8 Radiation Therapists, 3 RNs, and strong admin / clinical support staff
• Daily Volume : ~35 patients across 2 machines
• Participate in QA (patient-specific, chart, linear accelerator), plan checks, calibrations, commissioning, and implementation of new technologies
• Close collaboration with Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, Therapists, and Medical Oncology colleagues
