A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Pharmacy Technician - Patient Support!

Pharmacy Technician - Patient Support Highlights

The pay for this position is $24.45 per hour.
Full-Time schedule : Monday–Friday, with one weekday / weekend option available.

9 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM EST

9 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PM EST

10 : 30 AM – 7 : 00 PM EST

11 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM EST

11 : 30 AM – 8 : 00 PM EST

Weekday / Weekend Option : Mon–Wed (10 : 30 AM–7 : 00 PM) + Sat / Sun (9 : 00 AM–5 : 30 PM)

Onsite position .

Candidates may also reside in Amherst, NY; New Hyde Park, NY; Woodridge, IL; Houston, TX; or Scottsdale, AZ.

This position is a contract role with potential for permanent hire based on attendance, performance, and business needs.

Responsibilities

Answer inbound calls and provide first-call resolution for patient and provider inquiries.

Coordinate prescription deliveries and process copayments accurately.

Communicate effectively with physician offices, patients, and internal departments.

Triage calls to appropriate departments when necessary.

Maintain accuracy and professionalism while handling sensitive patient information in compliance with HIPAA standards.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED (verifiable).

Active state Pharmacy Technician license or registration with the Board of Pharmacy (required).

PTCB certification preferred.

Prior pharmacy or healthcare call center experience a plus.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to multitask effectively in a high-volume environment.

Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days of employment.
