ACTIVITY THERAPIST - PRN

We are looking for dynamic Activity Therapist (Music, Movement, Art or Recreation Therapist) who will embrace the opportunity to have a positive impact on the lives of the patients we serve!

Centennial Peaks Hospital has been providing psychiatric services to the Denver-metro area for more than 30 years. Located in beautiful Louisville, CO, our 104-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness including chemical dependency. Centennial Peaks offers unique and individualized programming for adolescents and adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities, and our dynamic leadership team includes a seasoned nursing department, ECT Therapy, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs.

JOB SUMMARY

The Activity Therapist is an important member of the Centennial Peaks Hospital’s inpatient multidisciplinary treatment team. The Activity Therapist provides expressive arts therapy, psychoeducational groups, and recreational activities to inpatient psychiatric units. We are looking for candidates who may specialize in music, art, movement or recreation. We are looking for a certified or licensed therapist in their field of expertise.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Therapy or area of Specialty Therapy preferred.
  • One-year experience in working with a mental health population preferred.
  • CTRS or Licensed in Specialty Therapy- REQUIRED
