BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Hospital in Tampa, Florida is seeking a full-time board certified or board eligible Ophthalmologist to join our emergency and specialty hospital.
BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in Tampa, FL is one of the founding hospitals in the BluePearl family. Today, we have more than 46 emergency and board-certified or board-eligible veterinarians on staff, creating a strong collaborative atmosphere to provide the best in diagnostic and comprehensive services.
Our clinicians specialize in avian and exotic medicine, cardiology, dermatology, emergency & critical care, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, radiology and surgery.
Our 16,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year. On-site diagnostic and treatment capabilities include a CT scanner, linear accelerator (LINAC), fluoroscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound, echocardiograms, access to MRI, digital radiography, radioiodine I-131 feline hyperthyroidism treatment, many in-house laboratory blood machines, and a large capacity centrifuge to assist in keeping our blood products on supply and for our partner locations and referring communities.
Tampa consists of more than 300 days of sunshine and beaches; cultural and recreational attractions are available nearby. We pride ourselves on creating a friendly, welcoming culture and we consider ourselves to be a part of a big family. We work very closely with each other and everyone is always willing to help their colleagues. Many of our specialists have been with BluePearl for more than 10 years, and all are experienced and well-respected within their fields. Some technicians are assigned to individual services, but all of them had the opportunity to be cross-trained.
