Non CDL Truck Driver

Immediate opening for a NON CDL Truck Driver doing both Solo and Team driving and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Reno, NV.

$1212 or more per week - And it gets better.

Driver Positions Pay Weekly :

Hourly Pay : $25.00 Per Hour

Per Diem Pay : $25.00 - per night with 1 night out per week

Hours Per Week : 40 - 50 hours per week

Paid Training

Schedule : Monday - Friday

Start Time : 6 : 00 AM

50% Team, 50% Solo routes

Deliver : Reno, Lake Tahoe, Carson City, Crescent City, & Surrounding areas

Route : Local Home Daily - 1 Night out per week

Tractor Type : Straight Truck

Trailer Type : Straight Truck 26'

Equipment : Pallet Jack & Lift Gate

Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful

Freight : Touch - Cable Equipment

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24 / 7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements :

Minimum 21 years of age

Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience

Pass a Ryder Drug Test

Must have verifiable driving experience (

• must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck) :

6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR

2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR

5 years' experience within the last 10 years

Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Pass a DOT physical

Pass a Ryder road test

Must have a valid driver's license

Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions

Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures

Important Note : Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and / or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities :

This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.

Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards

Maintaining accurate records Loading / Unloading freight or assisting in the loading / unloading of freight if required by customer

Other tasks as assigned
