Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Blue Springs, MO, is seeking a licensed Behavior Specialist with BCBA credentials to provide comprehensive behavioral support during the contract period from December 15, 2025, through May 22, 2026. This full-time, onsite position offers 35 hours per week, focused on enhancing positive behavior interventions within the school setting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Model and train teachers, paraprofessionals, and RBTs on intervention strategies.
- Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Collect and analyze behavior-related data to evaluate and adjust interventions.
- Perform classroom observations and recommend responsive strategies and environmental supports.
- Support program development and coordinate materials and services aligned with established guidelines.
- Research and implement evidence-based practices across academic, social, and behavioral domains.
- Prepare reports, trainings, and maintain electronic records to support documentation and communication.
Qualifications and Experience :
Must hold licensure as a Behavior Specialist.Certified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required.Completion of a supervision course necessary to oversee RBTs in partnership with another BCBA.Demonstrated skills in assessment, program design, implementation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain organized data collection systems.Location :
