Job description

GHR Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a local contract nursing job in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

NICU RN

Provides specialized nursing care to premature and critically ill newborns requiring continuous monitoring, advanced interventions, and developmentally supportive care in a neonatal intensive care environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor vital signs, respiratory status, and physiological stability in high acuity neonates
  • Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and support ventilators, CPAP, and other respiratory equipment
  • Perform detailed assessments and respond rapidly to changes in neonatal condition
  • Provide specialized feeding support including gavage, TPN, and lactation coordination
  • Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
  • Educate and support families through neonatal care, bonding, and discharge readiness
  • Maintain strict infection prevention practices and accurate documentation

    • Requirements :

  • Active state RN license or compact license if applicable
  • Minimum two years of NICU RN experience

    • Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K offered.
