Crafted Highlights
In the role of Sr. Packaging Engineer , working in Milwaukee, WI you will lead cross functional teams to execute new packaging projects for current and new brand opportunities. Using subject matter knowledge on packaging, you will deliver innovations, renovation opportunities, and process optimization initiatives for the business.
This position reports to the Director of Brewery Optimization and Support, and works closely with other internal partners including Quality, Innovation, Supply Chain Excellence, and Procurement.
What You'll Be Brewing
- This role has broad responsibility to develop innovative packaging from a raw material state to full scale commercialization with designs that ensure quality is delivered to customers and consumers.
- This role will be responsible to establish material and packaging specifications for primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging and support the implementation of those specifications to guarantee quality from end to end of the supply chain.
- You will work cross functionally with high level internal stakeholders and high level external partners to deliver on cost savings and future capabilities for efficiency and quality
- You will potentially lead development a development engineer(s) responsible for the validation, and commercialization of innovative containers and packaging solutions
- Establish load configuration specifications for multiple transit modes including rail and intermodal
- Integrates knowledge of packaging materials and equipment interaction in support of successful and effective technical solutions.
- Works within a defined project management stage gate process through concept / feasibility / development stages and supports preparation of robust business cases and implementation plans.
- Contributes subject matter expertise on a defined innovation platform by keeping up to speed on industry developments and communicating to the regional R&D team, therefore feeding ideas and best practices into the innovation funnel
- Supports the Operations brewing network on process, quality, and efficiency areas and troubleshooting as required.
Key Ingredients
You will have a Bachelor's Degree in Packaging or related field or equivalent experienceYou will have 10+ years of experience in packaging or associated consumer goods industryAdvanced degree in Packaging is preferred.You will have in depth knowledge of critical stages of the beverage industry value chain including transportationYou love a challenge. Pay and Benefits :
At Molson Coors, we're committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.
Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings : $110,800.00-$145,400.00 (posting salary range) + 20% target short term incentive + target long term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
