About The Position

Job Title : Mammography Technologist

Experience : Minimum 2 years required

License : State Mammography License required

Certifications : Certification from relevant bodies preferred but not mandatory

Must-Have :

• Competently perform routine and specialized breast procedures including biopsies and needle localization.
• Produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease.
• Work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Implement developed clinical skills to deliver accurate results in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively and gain cooperation from patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.
• May perform specific procedures and / or orient other staff.

Description :

The Mammography Technologist will competently perform routine and specialized breast procedures.

This includes conducting biopsies and needle localization procedures.
