Entry Level NOC Technician

A company is looking for a Tier One Technician (Voice NOC) entry level. Key Responsibilities Monitor network devices and troubleshoot issues related to VOIP and telephony services Coordinate with on-site technicians and carriers to resolve service troubles and manage trouble tickets Communicate effectively with customers and document all job status updates Required Qualifications High school diploma; a college degree in a technical discipline or relevant work experience is preferred Knowledge of basic networking technologies, including OSI Model, TCP / IP, and VOIP Relevant certifications in networking or telephony are a plus Able to work at least one weekend day each week Ability to multitask and follow defined processes accurately
