ARE YOU THE DONOR ENGAGEMENT MANAGER WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

As the engine of our individual donor pipeline, you'll focus on cultivating and stewarding relationships with mid-level, lapsed, and reactivated donors across Kent, Ottawa, and Allegan Counties. You'll manage donor journeys, execute targeted campaigns, and collaborate with teams to ensure donors experience personalized, impactful engagement.

Reporting to the Director of Donor Development, you'll join our Resource Development team , a group of passionate professionals who work together to engage donors, corporate partners, and community members. The team collaborate across departments-including Marketing, Volunteer Center, and Community Impact-to create seamless donor experiences that lead to long-term community impact.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys meaningful conversations, loves building connections, and wants to make a difference in the community. You'll work on initiatives including, but not limited to :

• Managing a portfolio of mid-level, lapse, reactivated, and community donors across a multi-county region.
• Converting volunteers and event participants into donors.
• Executing annual giving and reactivation campaigns.
• Implementing structured stewardship calendars and donor experiences.
• Supporting digital engagement strategies and donor communications.
• Representing Heart of West Michigan United Way at community events and engagement opportunities throughout the multiple counties.

SCHEDULE : This is a full-time, exempt position (35.7 hours / week) with a hybrid schedule requiring at least two days in the office. Core hours are Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM-5 : 30 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends for events and community engagement.

Compensation and Benefits :

Salary Statement : The typical offer range for this role is from minimum to midpoint, with the midpoint representing the average pay for this in a market scope. Please note that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade for which this position belongs to. The salary offer considers a variety of factors relevant to this position, which includes knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The minimum salary for this role is $46,000 / annually.
