LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Radiology MD in Grass Valley, California, 95945!

Pay Information

$395 per hour

About The Position

Seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist with mammography and breast biopsy experience for outpatient coverage. Candidate must meet MQSA requirements for mammography and be proficient in reading studies across all modalities. This position offers a recurring schedule of one week every other month starting January, for 6–9 months.

Job Responsibilities :

Perform diagnostic mammograms and breast biopsies
Interpret imaging studies including CT, MRI, PET, Ultrasound, and X-rays
Conduct image-guided procedures (thoracentesis, paracentesis, biopsies, drains, nephrostomy tubes, etc.)
Maintain MQSA standards (960 mammography studies interpreted every 24 months)
Collaborate with radiology techs and support staff to ensure smooth workflow
Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and reporting

Job Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology – REQUIRED

Active State Medical License – REQUIRED

Completed Diagnostic Radiology Residency – REQUIRED (no fellowship required)

Ability to perform diagnostic mammograms and breast biopsies – REQUIRED

BLS, ACLS, and DEA – REQUIRED

Clean malpractice history preferred
