CDL-A - Regional Van Truckload truck driver at Schneider. Join to apply for the CDL-A - Regional Van Truckload truck driver role at Schneider.

Responsibilities

  • Predictable power lanes with a high volume of freight.
  • Consistent freight allows for maximum drive time and less down time.
  • Dispatched in advance, allowing for improved planning.
  • 95% no-touch, mostly drop-and-hook freight.
  • Drive within the Eastern 37 states.

Pay and bonus potential

  • Average pay : $1,020-$1,240 weekly.
  • Sign-on bonuses : $6,000 for experienced drivers, $3,000 for inexperienced drivers, paid over 12 monthly payments in the first year.
  • Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
  • Weekly performance pay.
  • Mileage incentive : potential to receive a $0.02 / mile increase based on weekly miles run and goals.
  • Paid orientation.
  • Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
  • Annual bonus : Earn up to 2% of annual gross pay each year.
  • Paid time off and holidays are provided as part of the benefits package.

    • Qualifications

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • HazMat endorsement preferred.
  • Passport, FAST card or Enhanced CDL opens more opportunities.
