A radiation badge will be provided for this position. A driver's license is required for submission and will be used to verify the distance from the job site. Artificial nails are prohibited in departments providing patient care. Refusal to remove artificial nails may result in termination of contract. Experience with GE CT scanners or Epic is required. The department includes multiple types of imaging studies and is equipped with MRI, CT, X-ray, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and Interventional Radiology. Float or coverage may be required in CT, X-ray, OR, Endoscopy, and Emergency Department as needed. The scheduling is managed by the supervisor, and weekend and holiday work is required. There is a call or standby requirement with variable response times. Unit-specific orientation consists of 1-2 shifts. Attributes that contribute to success in this role include flexibility, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Request for time off is limited to 7 days or less per 13-week contract, with no additional requests approved after submission. The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts during the 13-week assignment. The charting system used is EPIC. A BSN is not required for this position. This is a trauma level care setting within an acute division. Required certifications are BLS and Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT).
