This Role ExistsActionable, self-service analytics is a new, crucial product pillar at Tive. We're investing in embedded dashboards, benchmarking, and insights that customers rely on every day-not one-off slide decks or reports. To build on existing momentum and to reach our goals with this product, we need a leader who can turn strategic product requirements and customer insights into production-ready data models, BI content, and user-facing

ResponsibilitiesShip data-driven SaaS features that customers love and pay forLead development of Tive's new embedded Analytics productDesign scalable models & dashboards : Build reusable dbt-style SQL models and production dashboards in Sigma (or similar BI tool) that serve thousands of usersOwn your team's engineering backlog : break down product requirements (alongside a dedicated PM) into user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint plans.Measure adoption, engagement, and performance; partner with Product to iterate based on data and customer feedbackCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure end-to-end customer value : Sync regularly with Product, Design, Data Science, and Platform EngineeringLead & mentor a team of of analytics engineersBe a player-coach : In this lean team you'll divide your time between hands-on development and guiding the team's technical and people growthDevelop talent : set clear goals, give actionable feedback, unblock work, and craft career paths for each engineer.Champion agile practice : Run standups, backlog refinement, and other agile ceremonies, promoting shared ownership and continuous improvement so the team's delivery remains predictable, transparent, and outcome-focused.Raise the bar on quality : Establish coding standards, CI checks, data tests, and post-release monitoring; high-velocity is good, high-quality releases are betterOur Ideal CandidateBachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).5+ years experience in data analytics including at least 2+ years building analytics for SaaS products (not internal BI), 2+ years managing or leading engineersChampions an outcome-oriented product mindset-running small, hypothesis-driven experiments, iterating quickly with real user feedback, and measuring success by the impact on customers and the business rather than feature count.Proven record shipping customer-facing dashboards or embedded analytics in a multi-tenant environment.Expert SQL and strong experience with modern BI tools (Sigma, Looker, Tableau, etc.)Comfortable owning the entire analytics SDLC : modeling, version control, testing, visualization, and releaseFamiliar with data warehousing, ETL processes, cloud warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery), and basic ML / AI conceptsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex

operating in an agile, late-stage-startup setting-able to navigate some ambiguity and make thoughtful, timely decisions without perfect

written & verbal communication-able to translate data architecture into business impactNice-to-have : supply-chain domain knowledge, familiarity with bt, exposure to product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel), and / or experience mentoring analysts into engineersWork Setup & EligibilityBoston HQ / hybrid preferred.
