With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team. We are currently seeking a unique individual with supply chain skills to assist in our enterprise procurement processes.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in maintaining warehouse equipment inventories, storage, issue, shipping and receiving, stakeholder interactions, and providing input into process and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with the Software team and INDOPACOM leadership to provide coverage on all software related functions for the CCMD to include renewals, new purchases, updates, and tracking.
- Support annual efforts of spend-down materials and spares and update data on department SharePoint.
- Facilitate all inventory efforts locally and remote and provide weekly and monthly status reporting to appropriate leadership for all Property titles within INDOPACOM.
- Provide updates to the System of Record database, provide additional assistance with logistical support of designated site codes under INDOPACOM, and generate weekly and monthly reporting analysis of existing capabilities and challenges. Provide support efforts for locally stored equipment, while providing accountability of location and lifecycle information.
- Assist with all disposal actions and mandatory documentation for record keeping.
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications :
3+ years of related work experience.Top Secret / SCI clearanceBA / BS - may substitute additional years of experience.Proficient use Excel & Microsoft software productsAbility to learn logistics database systems (ServiceNow)Basic knowledge of IT equipment (routers, switches, thin clients.... etc.)Knowledge of shipping carriers; DHL, FedEx, and USPSAbility to multi-task supporting requests with varying timeline requirements.Able to work with minimal supervision.Experience entering and manipulating information in asset management systems.Experience with completing hand receiptsStrong written and verbal skills.Self-starter who can independently work and collaborate with other teamsStrong analytic and problem-solving skills with the ability to put together and organize large amounts of information.Preferred Qualifications :
