Texas Global, LLC (the Company) is a startup payments company in the process for applying for an Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) National Trust Charter. The Company currently operates in Dallas, TX and focuses on providing correspondent services to select foreign financial institutions.
The Director of IT position will work closely with the Companys Chief Risk Officer and be responsible for establishing the Companys IT infrastructure and cybersecurity program. This will include both technical requirements and advisory initiatives, such as crafting policies and procedures and designing detailed risk assessments.
The key responsibilities include :
The Director of IT is responsible for setting up the Companys IT infrastructure and in coordination with the Chief Risk Officer, developing and implementing appropriate internal controls.
Leading the initiative to successfully install the Companys core system, financial crime suite, wire processing system, and other key third-party applications.
Develop and maintain the Companys information security and cybersecurity program.
Develop appropriate procedures consistent with the FFIEC IT Examination Handbook and NIST Standards.
Develop and maintain the Companys Incident Response Plan.
Develop and maintain risk assessments for IT, cybersecurity, vendor management, business continuity, and other key areas.
Oversee the Companys IT infrastructure and vendors.
Identify and report on KRIs and KPIS to the Chief Risk Officer, senior management, and the Companys Board of Directors.
In coordination with the Chief Risk Officer, manage regulatory examinations and internal audits.
Harden all Company PCs.
Familiarity with payment file transmissions and the ability to set up APIs between internal systems as needed.
Other technical requirements assigned as assigned by the Chief Risk Officer.
This position can be hybrid for the right candidate. No relocation assistance is available for this role. We are unable to provide Visa sponsorship. Candidates must have a valid, permanent work authorization in the United States.
Prior work experience within Information Technology at a US regulated bank, preferably OCC, is required.
