Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work 12-hour shifts with 3 shifts per week scheduling requirement

    • \n

  • Maintain patient ratios of 6-7 : 1 on a 24-bed acute care unit

    • \n

  • Use Cerner documentation system for patient records

    • \n

  • Work with standard medical / surgical equipment

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS

    • \n

  • Preferred certifications : ACLS, CPI

    • \n

  • Must have experience with geriatric care or past inpatient rehabilitation experience with swing bed patients

    • \n

  • Advanced wound care skills needed

    • \n

  • Perform minor procedures on the unit

    • \n

  • Minimal floating policy - floating is rare

    • \n

  • Dress code requires navy scrubs or navy top with white bottoms

    • \n

  • Unit operates with no HUC, tech support, or extra RN when no tech available

    • \n

  • Patient experience expectations include concierge-level service for affluent community

    • \n

  • Excellent culture and teamwork environment on unit
