Opportunity Overview

Baptist Memorial Health Care is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join our collaborative care team model at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Memphis. This is an excellent opportunity to practice a wide range of anesthesia services at one of Tennessees highest-volume medical centers.

Full call-taking position

Collaborative care team of 25+ physicians (including two fellowship-trained pediatric anesthesiologists) and 70+ CRNAs

Led by Frederick Jones, MD

Supportive, team-oriented environment where all voices are valued

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate activities in the Anesthesia Department

Provide medical management of patients undergoing surgery and procedures

Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain / verify patient consent

Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients

Administer anesthesia : induction, maintenance, and emergence

Monitor patients physiological condition throughout procedures

Provide clinical interventions as needed

Qualifications

M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine

ECFMG and FLEX certification (if applicable)

Completion of an approved residency in Anesthesia

Current medical license
