Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Role

Location : Stockton CA 95204

Assignment Duration : 13 Weeks

Open to Local & Travel Candidates

Position Highlights :

  • Shift : 8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM
  • Guaranteed Hours : 35 hours per week
  • Weekly Pay Rate : $2030 - $2170

Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate patients with speech language voice and fluency disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practice.
  • Provide therapy to improve communication skills cognitive-linguistic abilities and swallowing function.
  • Collaborate with physicians nurses therapists and families to coordinate care.
  • Educate patients families and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations and facility policies.
  • Participate in discharge planning and provide recommendations for ongoing care or therapy.

    • Qualifications :

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid SLP license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • CPR / BLS Certification (Required).
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting (e.g. hospital SNF outpatient).
