About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Current RN license required

• Vent / trach experience
• Knowledge of central lines
• Preferred wound care experience

Description :

The LTAC / Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients.

This is done by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures.

The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership.

This is necessary in the anticipation and planning for the safe delivery of care.

Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education is essential.

The Registered Nurse delegates patient care priorities based on the education and experience of the available staff.

Direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care are also key responsibilities.

Patient ratios are set at 1 : 6.
