Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Operations Manager to join our leadership team. This pivotal role will be responsible for supervising field teams, overseeing job site execution, managing superintendent performance, and ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. The Field Operations Manager will serve as the bridge between field execution and executive leadership, driving operational excellence across all projects in their region.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor field superintendents and crews to ensure safety, quality, and productivity on all active job sites.

Monitor project progress, manpower allocation, and resource utilization to maintain efficient field operations.

Partner with Project Managers and Estimating to support seamless project handoff, scheduling, and execution.

Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards on-site.

Conduct regular site visits and job walks to review work progress, troubleshoot issues, and enforce quality control.

Collaborate with Prefab, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to streamline field needs and logistics.

Participate in recruiting, training, and performance evaluations of field personnel.

Lead kickoff meetings and post-mortem project reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future execution.

Maintain consistent communication with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve conflicts and support smooth operations.

Qualifications

7–10 years of experience in field leadership within electrical contracting or general construction.

Proven track record in managing superintendents, foremen, and large field teams on commercial, multifamily, or solar projects.

Deep understanding of NEC, construction safety standards, and best practices for field execution.

Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.

Experience with construction software such as Procore, PlanGrid, or Fieldwire is a plus.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong advantage.

Willingness to travel to job sites across Texas.
