Job Description As a Security Officer - Access Control Aero in Troy, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more. What You'll Do : Control access to the site by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas. Provide customer service to clients and visitors by adhering to security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Monitor and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for unusual activity or potential security-related concerns. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members regarding access procedures and security-related information. Assist with emergency response activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines. Document and report observations, incidents, and activities according to established Allied Universal procedures. Minimum Requirements : Must be at least 21 years of age. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A valid firearms permit is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
