Minimum 1+ years deaf & hard of hearing experience required.

An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional specializing in education for students who are deaf or hard of hearing. This role is situated in a supportive K-12 school environment in Fishers, IN, where the focus is on fostering an inclusive and enriching learning experience for approximately five students.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification in Deaf / Hard of Hearing.
  • Experience working with K-12 students, preferably with small caseloads.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and other communication methods.

  • Provide specialized instruction and support to K-12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
