Your Opportunity

Are you excited by the prospect of automating database services that handle hundreds of billions of transactions every month? Do you want to play a crucial role in building and deploying highly reliable and efficient database systems across diverse environments? If these challenges inspire you, we encourage you to apply! We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team responsible for creating our next generation database platform, focusing on robust and scalable database-as-a-service (DBaaS) solutions. Your expertise in software development and hands-on experience with Kubernetes will be essential in developing effective tools and controllers for database management.

What You'll Do

• Develop an exceptional DBaaS platform providing streamlined cloud services using MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kubernetes.
• Create highly efficient and optimized code to facilitate database management and orchestration.
• Monitor and optimize databases for high availability, performance, and security.
• Develop and maintain Kubernetes Operators in Go for automating databases and related resources.
• Create automation workflows for database and Kubernetes tasks such as provisioning, backups, scaling, and monitoring.
• Promote best practices for database availability, performance tuning, and security across our platform.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $152,000 - $190,000 USD, and it includes eligibility for a corporate bonus plan. Pay will vary based on location and may be influenced by the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
