POSITION SUMMARY : As an Inpatient RN, you will utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will coordinate care by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, communicate patient conditions effectively, and respond accurately and promptly to changes in patient status. It's essential to create and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment while demonstrating knowledge of age-specific care. Your role involves promoting nursing and professional practice through collegial support and interactions.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION : Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school with a current Connecticut RN license. CPR certification is required upon hire, and proficiency in PMT and de-escalation techniques must be attained within 6 months of hire.

COMPETENCIES : Effective verbal and written communication in English is necessary, along with basic computer skills. Swift and efficient action is essential for patient emergencies.
