QC Microbiologist 2nd Shift

Qualifications :

BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

• BS / BA in Microbiology Chemistry Biochemistry Biology or related scientific discipline
• Knowledgeable in basic sciences and Microbiology laboratory methods and procedures
• Hands-on experience in an academic lab setting using aseptic technique and other Microbiological lab techniques
• Authorization to work in the United States without restrictions or sponsorship

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• Experience in a GMP QC Microbiology Laboratory knowledge of all compendial test methods (Bioburden Endotoxin sterility testing) preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation
• Experience with microbial ID systems (MALDI MicroSeq)

Additional Information :

Position is  Full Time Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm (2nd Shift) - some overtime and weekend work may be required as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of  Holly Springs NC  are encouraged to apply.
