Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,978 per week in Chicago, IL

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Medical Surgical Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : 2 years of recent acute care experience in Medical / Surgical License : Active Nursing License required Certifications : BLS required, NIHSS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have : - BLS certification - NIH Stroke Scale certification - ACLS preferred - Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs Description : Position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical care. The shift is 3 days a week from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM. There is no block scheduling available. Weekend requirement includes every other weekend, 2 weekends per month. There is a maximum of 5 days of time off, with no more than 2 consecutive days. Holidays have a no time off policy, including the day before and after. Floating may be required at the facility's discretion. Mandatory floating is practiced; resources are expected to float as needed. The facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center. This position requires proof of vaccinations one week prior to the start date. Local candidates living within 75 miles are preferred. All time off requests are required to comply with the facility's policy. Candidate responsiveness is essential for contract continuity.
