Job descriptionSchedule : 7-on / 7-off, 7 PM – 7 AM Role : ICU management one week, floor management the next Procedures : Opportunity to maintain and grow procedural skills Education : Participate in teaching IM residents and medical students Team : Established Hospitalist program with 11 physicians and 4 APPS Support : Full spectrum of specialty care including Cardiology, Pulmonology, Neurology, Oncology, Surgery, and more Internal Medicine trained ABIM certified or board eligible Comprehensive relocation assistance Generous loan repayment program Short- and long-term disability coverage Full professional liability insurance Excellent 403(b) retirement and savings plan 8 days PTO annually CME allowance One hospital with two locations Wellness center and continuing care retirement community Active graduate medical education programs for MD and DO students Pisgah National Forest and Linville Gorge (Grand Canyon of the East) Lake James State Park : boating, fishing, swimming, paddle-in campsites, mountain biking South Mountains State Park : 80-ft waterfall, 40+ miles of trails, equestrian paths, riverside campsites Thriving arts scene, wineries, breweries, shopping, and dining Seniority level : Entry level Employment type : Full-time Job function : Health Care Provider Industries : Hospitals and Health Care
