Neuro ICU with 20 beds

this is a comprehensive stroke center

lots of stroke patients, some surgical, vented patients, pts with lumbar drains

2 years of experience in a neuro ICU; helpful to have primary or comprehensive stroke center experience; academic hospital experience preferred; previous travel experience preferred

Familiarity with the following patient diagnoses :

status epilepticus with EEG monitoring

encephalitis / meningitis

Experience with commonly used equipment :

EVDs, bolts, EEG, lumbar drains, ventilators
