JOB DESCRIPTION : Excellent opportunity for a Trauma / Critical Surgeon to join 11 General Surgeons to practice in beautiful North Carolina. Candidate must be BE / BC in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship is required. We offer Top Tier Compensation and generous, extensive benefits. Our Emergency Department is the busiest in North Carolina, one of the top 10 busiest in the nation, and treats 100k adult and 40k pediatric cases annually. It is designated a Level III Trauma Center. Our providers perform a wide variety of surgery with DaVinci XI on site. We have also partnered with a university to educate the next generation of physicians. This position will be a mix of cases. Strong surgical skills are desired, and trauma interest and added qualifications in surgical critical care are highly desirable.
