Manufacturing Engineering Contractor

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and enhancing operational efficiency within our facility. The candidate must have at least five years of proven experience with strong background in metal stamping and progressive dies. Job will center on tooling and die solutions, and supervising tooling machinist.

Candidate will also interface with Product Engineer to work with improving manufacturing and improve plant efficiencies. Background with CNC programming helpful. This position requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, process engineering, and hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Responsibilities
• Develop and implement project scheduling to ensure timely completion of manufacturing projects.
• Engage in CNC programming to streamline machining operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Supervise Tool & Die operations.
• Implement & train Machine operators in setting up progressive die operations.
• Be hands on with the daily operations.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience in a metal stamping facility with hands-on factory experience..
• Familiarity with industrial equipment, tooling, fabrication, and assembly processes.
• Experience with robotics, including programming and integration into production lines.
• Understanding of CNC operations, including CNC programming and setup.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
