We are accepting applications for a Full-Time positions Nationwide.

Under the general direction of the Water Meter Installation Project Manager, the Field Services Technician / Water Meter Installer removes old residential water meters and installs new electronic water meters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities   Installation of new residential water meters, fittings and gaskets.

Recording old and new water meter readings.

Verification of proper installation / transmission of new meter data by utilizing tablet PC or smartphone.

Coordinates installation scheduling and meets quality / quantity and safety requirements.

Provide for excellence in internal and external customer service.

Create a positive experience for customers, water users and communities through professional and courteous behavior and producing high quality results.

Essential Skills & Qualifications :

• Minimum of one-year field experience in plumbing or water meter installation preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing and water distribution systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to use a keyboard and word processing, handheld tablet or other application software as required for the position.
• Ability to create and maintain the highest levels of confidentiality when dealing with proprietary information and sensitive situations.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Able to stand on feet, bend or stoop for a prolonged period of time.
• Some of the work is performed outdoors and through inclement weather as necessary.
• Able to carry out duties in a safe and efficient manner.
