Banner University Medical Group is thriving and actively seeking a dynamic & experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our fast-paced, structured, and highly trained Pre-Anesthesia Clinic team in Tucson, Arizona .

The ideal candidate has advanced clinical understanding of all organ systems, mastery of physical diagnostic skills, strong intrapersonal skills, excellent bedside manner, aptitude for service recovery, effective listening, multidisciplinary collaboration, and quality focused improvement skills. This position is open to an experienced NP.

The selected individual will practice in-person in an innovative new role to provide outpatient care to pre-surgical patients in order to help prevent day-of-surgery delays or cancellations and streamline day of surgery workflows for safe patient care ; it entails thorough understanding of pre-anesthesia needs, completing physical health assessment screening exams, triggering consults / lab work, and effectively communicating with other care providers.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Current Nurse Practitioner Board Certification is required
• 3+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience is required
• Previous pre and post op experience is required
• Prior experience in pharmacology, cardiovascular, or surgery is preferred, but not required

Work Schedule : Full-time | 7am - 530pm| T-F | 4-Day, 10-Hour Shifts | No Call, No Weekend, No Evenings, No Holidays
