Job Description

Key responsibilities :

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients (pediatrics to geriatrics)
• Work under the supervision and collaboration of a physician
• Perform history and physical exams
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop and update treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and recommend therapies
• Perform basic in-office procedures
• Communicate abnormal findings to supervising physician
• Educate patients and families about conditions and treatment
• Reassess care plans and make necessary adjustments
• Collaborate with the care team for patient-centered planning
• Ensure documentation, coding, and billing accuracy
• Adhere to patient health and safety regulations
• Participate in quality improvement and compliance processes
• Provide schedule flexibility and support service excellence
• May supervise and teach Family Medicine residents
• May need active staff membership at SJHS-SB and / or SJHS-Ply
• Maintain professional, mission-aligned conduct at all times
