Job descriptionBoard Certification Requirement : Yes, ensuring expertise in the field Fellowship : Preferred, reflecting a commitment to specialized knowledge Minimum Board Certification : Eligible, encouraging both experienced and newer physicians Active Licenses in MI : No, allowing providers with licenses in neighboring states ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS : All certifications required, ensuring a high standard of patient care Coverage Needed : 2 weeks per month in 2024, with specific date ranges provided Daily Schedule : Monday Sunday 7 : 00 AM 7 : 00 AM : 24-hour call (applies to the first assignment) Consistent Return Schedule : If returning frequently, a set schedule with both regular hours and 24-hour call Procedure Focus : Complete block coverage, encompassing hospital procedures and call Procedures : A range of gastroenterological procedures, including EGD, colonoscopy, pH studies, manometry, sigmoidoscopy, PEG / PEG-J tube placement, and preferred ERCP / EUS Facility Resources : Well-established Endo Unit with 4 procedure rooms / Endo Suites, Olympus equipment, hydrogen breath testing, capsule endoscopy, Paragon & EndoPro EMR, and experienced support staff Billing and Credentialing : Immediate turnaround required, with start date pending successful completion Availability : Full availability for specified dates needed; partial availability will not be considered
