What Youll Do :
The Nonprofit Controller will be assigned to work with a variety of clients from both charter schools and non-profit organizations. The role serves as the Nonprofit Controller and external client lead and requires strong communication skills project management skills knowledge of accrual and cash-based accounting and the ability to partner with key stakeholders. The Nonprofit Controller oversees all aspects of the finances for a portfolio of this consulting role the Nonprofit Controller regularly exercises independent judgment on client financial matters.
Although the scope of work is different for every client the Nonprofit Controller will be responsible for Accounting Finance Team Performance and Client Consulting activities as well as Controller-level tasks and other tasks and duties outlined below.
Accounting / Audit
- Act as a liaison between client and audit firm
- Oversee preparation of audit packages
- Perform quality review and finalize audit packages before release
- Implement audit findings.
