SMH Level 4 RN OR Neurovascular Moderate Sedation - SMH

Job Details :

• Work rotating day, evening, and night shifts
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Holiday, on-call, callback, and charge responsibilities per unit needs
• Provide moderate sedation nursing care in the operating room
• Care for diverse patient population across multiple specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma
• Work in Level 1 trauma center environment
• Operate with 2 DaVinci robots used by multi-services
• Support transplant program involving liver, kidney, and heart transplants
• New York RN license required
• Moderate sedation experience required
• Interventional radiology (IR) experience required
• Two years OR experience in Level 1 trauma preferred
• Ability to scrub preferred
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required
