Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Lecturer position in the Department of Counseling on the Cumming Campus. Projected start date is January 1, 2026.

This 12-month grant funded position is specifically designed to support an upcoming partnership between the University of North Georgia's Master of Science in Counseling (MSC) program and Forsyth County k-12 schools. The goal of this partnership is to provide increased support for mental health and substance use needs of k-12 students. This position will therefore provide clinical and instructional support to MSC students in this venture.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in Masters-level counseling courses.
• Provide clinical supervision to Masters-level interns.
• Support departmental, college, & university functions, including serving on committees.
• Partner with k-12 schools in an effort to support MSC students working in Forsyth County schools.
• Coordinate clinical education experiences within the k-12 Forsyth County school system.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
