Medical Assistant / Receptionist at Washington Regional Urgent Care - PRN
Washington Regional Urgent Care is looking for experienced Medical Assistants to join our team in Mountain Home, AR. The Medical Assistant / Receptionist provides clinical care to patients in urgent care, occupational health, and workers' compensation settings. Responsibilities include initial evaluations, x-ray testing, and preparing patients for provider evaluation by recording histories, vital signs, and documentation while recognizing acuity levels for appropriate intervention. This position will also have medical receptionist responsibilities.
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned.
Full-time team members work a rotating 36-40 hour / week schedule, consisting of 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. Our PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience performing clerical tasks in a medical office setting. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant. Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience. BLS Certification required.
