Location : Crystal Lake Park, MO

Salary : $80.00 USD Hourly - $81.00 USD Hourly

Work Location : Remote

Work Hours : Flexible scheduling according to the worker's time zone, but must be available for meetings and collaboration in Central Time .

About the Role

As a Tax Accountant , you will play a critical role in managing the organization's tax obligations and supporting its financial health. Success in this role means delivering accurate, timely tax filings, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and contributing to strategic financial planning. You will gain exposure to trust tax , federal and state taxation , and Form 1041 requirements .

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date technical tax knowledge
• Prepare estimated federal and state income tax payments
• Prepare work papers for book-to-tax differences
• Perform year-end reviews and prepare tax provisions
• Prepare federal and state income tax returns
• Prepare personal property tax returns and other tax filings
• Conduct tax research projects
• Assist with federal and state audits
• Maintain tax preparation systems and ensure compliance
• Stay current on tax law developments
• Serve as an internal tax information resource
• Support financial planning and analysis initiatives
