Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Adult

\n\n

Job Details : \n

  • 13-week contract assignment scheduled for 36 hours per week following first full week of orientation

    • \n

  • Varied shifts with no guarantee of hours or shift preference - must be flexible with shift lengths and days

    • \n

  • Nurse to patient ratio of 1 : 8 with 1 : 6 aides during day shift and 1 : 8 during night shift

    • \n

  • May float to Med Surg and Surgical Pediatrics units

    • \n

  • Work in 32-bed Transitional Care Unit

    • \n

  • 2-10 years of nursing experience required

    • \n

  • Hawaii nursing license required by start of assignment

    • \n

  • BLS certification required; ACLS not required unless agency requirement

    • \n

  • Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical / religious exception required prior to start

    • \n

  • Professional nursing attire dress code

    • \n

  • Equipment utilized includes Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, chest tubes, tube feeding, NG / G-Tubes, trach care, PICC / PORT

    • \n

  • Orientation time provided for each unit
