Job Summary :
Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults.

Required Education and Qualifications :
a valid Professional Educator License issued by the Utah State Board of Education with a Speech Language Pathology License Area of Concentration
New Speech-Language Pathology program graduates who have not yet received their educator license may upload a conferral letter from their university preparation program in lieu of their license. This letter must include the anticipated date of graduation and the specific area(s) in which the applicant will be licensed. A similar letter may be used for individuals seeking to complete a clinical fellowship year.
