Key Responsibilities

• Develop the next-generation cloud-native database (TiDB) storage layer that is highly scalable, optimized for cloud environments, and simplifies backup and restore processes.
• Design and implement reliable, scalable, and efficient data backup and restore pipelines, ensuring rapid Point-in-Time Recovery (PiTR) for extensive datasets, and an advanced second-level backup solution leveraging native S3.
• Analyze and enhance TiDB’s performance, stability, and scalability in cloud settings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical customer issues related to performance, stability, and scalability.
• Lead and mentor the team by sharing expertise and promoting engineering excellence.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of engineering practices for DBAAS infrastructure.
• Guide junior engineers, fostering the growth of the team's overall technical skills.
