Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Monitor for and report any security-related concerns or hazards encountered during patrols. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential incidents and provide reassurance to staff and visitors. Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as needed. Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment. Follow all company protocols and client-specific instructions relevant to an armed patrol post in a government setting. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Possess a valid armed guard card or armed guard license as required by applicable state and / or local laws. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Guard - Armed Government Patrol
As a Security Guard - Armed Government Patrol in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.
As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. This armed position requires a strong sense of integrity and teamwork, as you play a key role in supporting a secure environment for all individuals at the location.

Pay Rate : $22.00 / Hour

Day Time Mon 09 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM
Tue 09 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM
Wed 09 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM
Thur 09 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM
Fri 09 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM
What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
